Copycat Hearth & Home started as Copycat Fabricators in 1981in Danbury, Wisconsin. Russ Estridge started making stoves in his garage in the evenings, on the weekends, and when away from his full time job. When fabricating his creations, he would "copy" other brand-name stoves, thus the Copycat name.

It wasn't long before business was booming and Russ gave up his outside job and changed his company name to Copycat Stoves & Fireplaces. He searched to find other sources for product to keep up with the demand, while continuing to build the best product line of stoves, fireplaces, and their accessories, keeping them at everyday low Copycat prices.

As the years passed, Russ made many friends while developing his business. In 1998, Russ & Ginny sold their business to their son & daughter-in-law. On Labor Day weekend 1998, Rick & Terri Estridge, along with the help of their sons, Bill & Ryan, and several other friends and relatives, opened "Copycat Hearth & Home" at a new location in Webster.

Today Terri runs the new Copycat Hearth & Home store on a daily basis. Employees include: Bill Estridge, Dave Baker, Dave Stangler and Jeff Holmberg. Ryan Estridge also helps when needed. When Rick is not at his other full-time job, he spends his spare time working with his family.

The current location, at the corner of Main Street and Highway 35, has over 4,000 square feet of showroom, which highlights over 20 live burning displays. Other showcases include hot tubs, accessories, stone, and chemicals. At Copycat Hearth & Home, you can find virtually anything you need to keep your home warm and cozy all year long!
